a) Power supply through the USB interface
With this type of connection, make sure that the USB interface of your PC
enables power supply and is capable of supplying the necessary current
(40 mA).
• Connect the cable of the miniature DVB-T antenna with the antenna input of your
DVB-T tuner.
• Plug the low-voltage plug of the enclosed USB adapter cable into the low-voltage
jacks on the back of the miniature DVB-T antenna.
• Connect the USB adapter cable to a USB interface on your PC and turn the PC on.
• Switch on your receiver and select a programme.
• Try to optimise the reception by changing the mounting position and alignment of the
miniature DVB-T antenna.
b) Power supply via the enclosed power pack unit
• Connect the cable of the miniature DVB-T antenna with the antenna connector of
your DVB-T tuner.
• Connect the low voltage jack of the power adapter with the low voltage socket at
the rear side of the miniature DVB-T antenna.
• Plug the power unit into a wall outlet of the public power supply grid.
• Switch on your receiver and select a programme.
• Try to optimise the reception by changing the mounting position and alignment of the
miniature DVB-T antenna.
c) Power supply via phantom power supply
This type of connection can only be used with DVB-T tuners with an inte-
grated 5 V phantom power supply.
To this end, read the information in the operating instructions of your DVB-T
tuner.
• Connect the cable of the miniature DVB-T antenna with the antenna connector of
your DVB-T tuner.
• Switch on your receiver and activate the phantom power.
• Select a programme on the receiving device.
• Try to optimise the reception by changing the mounting position and alignment of the
miniature DVB-T antenna.
Handling
• Never operate the miniature DVB-T antenna or the power pack with damaged hous-
ing or missing covers.
• Never use the miniature DVB-T antenna immediately after it has been brought from
a cold room into a warm one. The condensation that forms can ruin the product
under certain circumstances. Allow it to reach the room temperature. Wait until the
condensation has evaporated.
• Never unplug the power unit from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always
use the provided handles which are intended specifically for this purpose.
• Unplug the power supply if you are not going to use the device for a while.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power adaptor from the mains socket during
thunderstorms.

Maintenance and care

Before cleaning the device, disconnect it from the power supply.
Make sure that the inside of the device does not get wet or damp.
The miniature DVB-T antenna is maintenance-free; therefore do not open the case. If
you do open it, the warranty will be rendered null and void.
Periodically inspect the technical safety of the device for damage to the case, power
supply, etc. If the unit is damaged, it must be put out of operation and secured against
accidental use.
The outside of the casing should be cleaned only with a dry, soft cloth or brush. Never
use aggressive cleansing agents or chemical solutions, since they might damage the
surface of the housing.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed
of in the household waste!
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the
current statutory requirements.
