3. Safety instructions
Damage due to non-compliance with these Opera-
ting Instructions renders the warranty void.
We accept no liability for secondary damage!
This product has sharp edges and protruding parts and there is a
danger of injury on contact. Keep the product away from children!
Suitable measures against static charging are to be taken when tou-
ching and installing/removing (e.g. grounding strap, non-conducting
support etc.).
Handle the product with care, it will be damaged by impacts, blows
or a fall even from a low height.
4. Installation
If you lack the technical knowledge to install it, have
the unit installed by a SPECIALISTor a suitable repair
facility! Incorrect installation will damage both the
product and any equipment connected to it.
Caution, lethal danger!
Switch off the PC in which the hard disk fan is to be
fitted and all connected equipment and disconnect
all the equipment from the mains power, withdraw
the mains plug. Switching off at the mains switch is
not sufficient!
• Open the PC case and remove the case cover.

pect des présentes instructions a pour effet d'annu-
ler la garantie.
Le constructeur n'assume aucune responsabilité
pour tout dommage résultant d'un tel non-respect.
Le produit comporte des arêtes vives et des pièces saillantes – ris-
que de blessures lors de la manipulation. Le produit ne doit pas être
laissé à portée de main des enfants.
Lors de la manipulation et du montage/démontage, il convient de
prendre des mesures de précautions appropriées contre les char-
ges d'électricité statiques (p. ex. tresse de mise à la terre, support
non conducteur, etc.).
Ce produit doit être manipulé avec précautions – les coups, les chocs
ou une chute, même d'une faible hauteur, peuvent l'endommager.
4. Montage
Si les connaissances spécialisées nécessaires pour
le montage ne sont pas acquises, confier cette
opération à un SPECIALISTE ou à un atelier spécia-
lisé ! Un raccordement incorrect est susceptible
d'endommager non seulement le produit, mais aus-
si tous les appareils qui y sont raccordés.
