3. TV station settings ("3. TV Function")
This menu lets you program the stations.

• "1. TV system"
Here you can select between "AIR" and "CATV", which only makes a difference with the NTSC
system, however. With receipt via antenna or cable, this setting is meaningless in Europe. You
should select "CATV" here.
• "2. Channel Edit"
Here you can delete individual stations (e.g. such with a bad reception) or add others.
To delete a station, select it first. The activate the menu with the button "MENU". With the arrow
keys " " select the option "3rd TV function" and then the option "2nd channel edit". "Add" and
"Erase" are faded in after confirmation with the "Select" button. With the arrow keys "
the option "Erase" and confirm the deletion with " ".
In order to add a channel number, first enter the desired channel with the number keys. Then
activate the menu with the "MENU" button. With the arrow keys "
function" and then the option "2
and "Erase" are faded in. With the arrow keys "
the arrow key " ". Then add the channel number.
As there is no channel search for an individual channel, it only makes sense to add a channel when
there is a TV station on the channel number.
• "3. Fine Tune"
With this option, you can fine tune the station.
This may be necessary when you operate the TV box with a common room or roof antenna
(and not via cable).
• "4. MTS"
This option has the same function as the button "MTS". It serves to select the audio channels of
the respective displayed TV station (mono, second audio channel, stereo).
Switching is only possible if the TV station sends a multi-channel audio signal, for
example (e.g. English and the original language of a film).
