Instructions
Please read these instructions before using the EM press coffee maker.
The same simple idiom as the classic and world-renowned: EM77
vacuum jug, designed by Erik Magnussen in 1977, characterizes the
press coffee maker. The EM French press brings out the best in the
coffee flavour and aroma and contains eight cups, and its double
walls keep coffee warm for longer. Turn the lid to pour the coffee and
turn it again to close.
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the jug with hot water and, if necessary, a mild detergent. For
more thorough cleaning, the shell of the jug clicks apart from the
insert, so both can be washed in the dishwasher. Clean the filter with
lukewarm water. Do not leave coffee beans in the filter after use. The
piston is also dishwasher-safe.
WARNING
· Do not use the press coffee maker near children.
· Always place the press coffee maker on a stable, non-slip
surface or in the sink, when the filter is pressed.
· Please remember that too much water or pushing the coffee
press down too hard or too quickly can cause scalding coffee
to splash out of the thermal jug.
· Always turn the lid to the "closed" position, when not pouring
coffee.
· Do not place the press coffee maker on electric stove/hob, in
the oven or microwave oven.
