Using the control buttons
Pressing a button is always confi rmed with a beep.
The dialer can only be programmed when it is swit-
ched "OFF" (inactive).
If during programming no button is pressed for 30
seconds the dialer returns to its normal operational
state.
Incorrect button pressed:
A long tone can be heard and all 3 LEDs  fl ash
several times. The dialer ignores the incorrect button
and returns to the same state as before the incorrect
action. Programming can continue.
"ON" / "OFF" (active / inactive) Function
Manual switching using the sliding switch  located
on the side. Switching the dialer from "ON" (active)
to "OFF" (inactive) or vice versa will be signalled to
the central operating unit, if this has been taught.
Status display on the device:
• "ON" = active 
• The green LED  is off
• The red LED  is permanently on
• If an alarm is triggered the device dials the
stored telephone numbers and sends any voice
messages that are present. For details see ‚In
case of alarm' below.
• "OFF" (inactive) position 
• The green LED  is on permanently
• The red LED  is off.
• It is possible to program the device when it is is
switched "OFF" (inactive).
It is not possible to program the device or retrieve
text when the device is switched "ON" (active).
In case of alarm the device does not dial any tele-
phone number or send any voices message.

When an alarm is received the red LED (6) fl ashes
briefl y.
Description
 RJ11 connection
 Connection for power supply (mains adapter)
 Battery compartment
 Green LED (dialer is switched "OFF" / inactive).
 Yellow LED (programming / service)
 Red LED (dialer is switched "ON" / active)
 Internal speaker
 Selection switch – dial mode upper slide switch.
P = pulse dialing
T = tone dialing (DTMF)
The common dial mode nowadays
 Selection switch - "ON" (active) or "OFF" (inactive)
"OFF" = inactive. Recorded texts will not be sent
in the event of an alarm.
"ON" = active. Recorded texts will be sent in the
event of an alarm.
PROG = programming button (teaching button)
 • T1, T2, T3, T4 – text storage buttons
You can store one recorded message per button.
• 0, 1, 2, ...9 – number pad for entering# telepho-
ne numbers.
