Reference and test setup in order to the 2 Jumper Method
Test Setup
Reference Setup
REFERENCE SETUP
Connect light source (OLS) with OPM by two reference cables and connector according
to your test conditions and proceed reference setup by pressing the button [Ref]. Ensure
that OPM and light source (OLS) are set to the same wavelength.
TEST SETUP
After proceeding reference setup, connect light source (OLS) and OPM to both ends of the
transmission link and start testing. Note down the result.
Repeat the same procedure with all fibers of your fiber optic cable.
For further information of different testing methods (1 Jumper or 3 Jumper), and
interpretation of test results please refer to the relevant technical literature.
