Network Graphics Card RJ45-DVI
Item no. 87 38 75
Intended use
The product is used to operate a monitor over a network (10/100/1000Mbit). This allows the
monitor to be operated on several computers (but only in turn; you can only connect one com-
puter to the network graphics card at a time).
It also integrates a USB2.0 hub with 2 ports and a USB sound card with audio output.
The power is supplied from the wall plug transformer included in the delivery.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these operating
instructions.
This product complies with the applicable National and European requirements. All names of

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequen-
tial damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such cases,
the warranty will be null and void.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not permitted for
safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy. Keep devices that operate on the mains voltage out of the
reach of children. Therefore, be especially careful when children are around.
Use the product where it is out of the reach of children.
• The product is only intended for use in dry, indoor locations. No part of the product
should be allowed to become damp or wet; never take hold of it if your hands are
wet!
Use of the wall plug transformer involves the risk of a potentially fatal electric
shock!
• Do not pull the wall plug transformer from the mains socket by pulling on the cable.
Take hold of it on the sides of the housing and pull it out of the mains socket.
• If the wall plug transformer is damaged, do not touch it; there is danger to life from
electric shock!
First, switch off the mains voltage to the socket to which the wall plug transformer
is connected (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or, for example, or
remove the safety fuse) and then switch off at the corresponding RCD switch, so
the socket is fully disconnected from the mains voltage.
You can then unplug the wall plug transformer from the mains socket. Dispose of
the faulty wall plug transformer in an environment-friendly way, do not use it any
more.
Replace it with a new wall plug transformer with the same specifi cations.

Connection
• Connect your monitor with the DVI port on your USB graphics card. If you want to connect an
analogue VGA monitor, you will need a VGA DVI adapter (not included in the delivery, to be
ordered separately).
• Connect the network graphics card to your network switch or router using a 1:1 connected
network cable. Ideally, the switch or router should be confi gured so that all devices in the
network are assigned an IP address automatically.
• Connect the low voltage plug of the supplied wall plug transformer to the network graphics
card and plug it into a mains socket. The power LED lights up.
Software installation
• Place the CD included in delivery in the corresponding drive of the computer. If the installation
program on the CD does not start automatically, start the "Setup.exe" program in the main
directory of the CD.
In case of newer CD versions, the procedure may be different.
• Follow all software or Windows' instructions.
During installation, it can happen that the image disappears, fl ashes or that the resolution
changes automatically on the monitor directly connected to the computer. Wait until the instal-
lation is complete! If you are not connected as an administrator on the operating system, you
may still have to confi rm some Windows messages accordingly.
• Windows may need to be restarted after completing the installation.
Connecting the network graphics card to the PC
• A new icon "Launch USB Server", appears on the desktop, through which the software can
be started.
• Depending on your operating system (e.g. Windows 7), a warning message is displayed,
indicating that the software tries to access the network.
• After starting the software, click on the search button on the bottom left, in order to search for
the network graphics card in your network.
Once it was found, click on it (lower row, see arrow)
and activate the connection to the computer.
• If desired, connect a USB keyboard or USB mouse
with the two ports of the network graphics card.
The USB ports can also be used for other products,
e.g. USB fl ash drive, etc.
All devices are now available on the PC, which is connected to the network graphics card.
• The design of the wall plug transformer complies with protection class II. Only use
a standard mains socket as the voltage source for the wall plug transformer (see
section "Technical Data").
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around since it could become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
drops, even from a low height.
The higher the resolution, the faster should the network be. Use a Gigabit network
(1000 Mbit) for a resolution of 1920x1080.
The software must be installed on every computer that shall have access to the
network graphics card.
You must allow this access, otherwise no connection can be established with the
network graphics card!
If another computer shall have access to the network graphics card, the current
active connection must be disabled.
Only one computer at a time can be connected to the network graphics card (and
also to the USB or audio devices connected to the network graphics card).
