INSERTING/REPLACING BATTERIES (RECEIVER)
Before replacing the batteries, the product must be switched off and disconnected
from all measuring circuits and lines.
Only the battery specified in the technical data is allowed to be used.
An incorrectly polarised battery could destroy the product. Also it could explode or
start a fire.
• Open the battery compartment by pressing the lock of the battery compartment cover (5)
and at the same time pushing it in the direction of the markings.
• Insert a new battery.
• Close the battery compartment cover (5).
When the battery is empty or nearly empty, the receiver LED (3) flashes and the
acoustic signal is longer.
ALLOCATION OF FUSES
When connecting under voltage make sure you observe the safety guidelines.
The recognition or allocation of fuses is largely dependent on the wiring in the
distribution lines. To obtain a result that is as accurate as possible, the cover should
be removed to test the line of the fuse. If you do not have any specialist knowledge,
do not remove the cover yourself but commission a specialist to do so (e.g. an
electrician).
Automatic circuit breakers from different manufacturers may have the magnet coils
located in different positions. If no clear signal is found with the receiver, the position
of the receiver should be moved 90° to the left or right.
• Insert the plug into a socket on the electrical circuit which the fuse is to be allocated to. The
operating LED (6) comes on.
• Switch on the receiver with the
button/reset (4). The pulse LED (2) comes on and an
audible signal is emitted.
• Move the sensor (1) of the receiver close to the fuses and try to receive the signal. A
receiving signal is shown by the receiving LED (3) coming on: In addition a long audible
signal is emitted which differs depending on the strength of the signal received.
If no clear signal is found, the receiver should be reset. Press the
reset the product. Restart the search process.
• Switch off the affected fuse. The operating LED (6) on the transmitter goes out if the correct
fuse has been switched off.
• To reset the receiving signal press the
• To switch off the transmitter hold the
To increase the lifetime of the battery, the receiver is equipped with an automatic shut-
off function. The receiver turns off automatically after being idle for 3 minutes.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before cleaning the transmitter, pull the mains plug out of the socket.
• Do not immerse the product in water.
• The product is maintenance-free and only needs occasional cleaning. To clean the product,
use a soft, antistatic and lint-free cloth.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.
• After use, store the product in the storage bag.

DISPOSAL
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
1
statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately from
the product.
2
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
3
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used (rechargeable)
batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited!
4
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable)
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your
5
municipality, our stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the
environment.
