OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before first use
• Prior to first use grease the baking plates lightly and leave the appliance on for about 10 minutes with closed
lid (see using the appliance).
• Allow it to cool and then wipe with a damp cloth.
• Do not eat the first prepared toast.
Using the device
1. Plug the power cord in a grounded electrical outlet 220–240 V / 50/60 Hz. The red indicator light comes on and
the appliance starts heating up.
2. Leave the sandwich maker closed during heating.
3. A green indicator light comes on after 2 minutes signifying readiness to use.
4. Now open the lid, place the sandwich in and gently close the lid.
5. Secure the lid with the lock on the handle and bake 2 to 3 minutes. Adjust the baking time to the type of bread
and previous experience.
6. When finished baking, open the lid and remove the sandwich using a wooden fork or other similar utensil. Do not
use sharp or pointed objects to remove the foods to avoid damaging the surface of the baking plates.
7. The sandwich maker should always be closed between uses, to avoid damage to the surface of the baking
plates.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Always unplug the power cord before cleaning and wait until the sandwich maker cools down.
• Gently wipe the food residue from the grilling plates. Moisten the burned remains using a solution of warm
water and detergent, and remove them using plastic spatula or place a wet paper towel on the baking plates
to moisten the burned remains. Using baking paper designed for baking in the oven can make cleaning of the
non-stick surface easier. Then simply wipe and dry the surface.
• Do not use sharp objects for cleaning to avoid possible scratching of the non-stick coating.
• Do not use metal utensils for cleaning to avoid possible damage to the non-stick coating.
• Wipe the external surface of the appliance using wet cloth. Do not use cleaning powders or scrubbers for
external surface cleaning. You could damage the surface finish.
• Do not immerse in water or other liquids. Do not wash in the dishwasher.
