OPERATION

The current consumption of connected devices may not exceed the power
adaptor's maximum output current.
If the USB port is being used while a notebook is connected to the power
adaptor, the output current for the notebook will decrease (see Technical
Data).
a) Connecting a notebook computer
1. Select a connector that fits your notebook (see the table in the chapter "Technical Data").
2. Connect the connector to the output socket on the power adaptor's DC output cable.
Polarity of all connectors is pre-specified (outer: negative – / inner: positive +) and cannot
be altered.
3. Connect the power adaptor's output connector to your notebook's DC jack. The notebook
must be turned off at this time.
4. Connect the power cable to the power adaptor.
5. Connect the power plug to a common household power outlet. The power indicator lights
up to indicate the power adaptor is operational.
6. Now you can turn on your notebook.
7. Repeat these steps in the reverse order to disconnect your notebook from the power
adaptor.
8. Unplug the power adaptor when it is not in use.
