• Place the mobile phone ring tone amplifier on a flat, vibration-free, dry and level surface.
• Insert your mobile phone. A short „beep" tone sounds, for audible confirmation that your mobile
phone has been detected. The „Call/SMS detection LED" (4) flashes once, for visual confirma-
tion that your mobile phone has been detected.
• Push the two „securing clips" (10) together, to ensure the mobile phone is held in place
securely.
• Set the volume and the desired ring tone for the mobile phone ring tone amplifier by using the
slide switch „OFF/LO/HI" (1) and „RING/MUSIC" (2).
Handling in the event of incoming calls and text messages (SMS)
In the event of an incoming call or text messages (SMS), the mobile phone ring tone amplifier
emits (after a delay of up to 5 seconds), an signal tone via the „acoustic signaller" (5). The
„CALL/SMS detection LED" (4) flashes while the signal is sounded. Then, remove the mobile
phone. The signal tone stops and the „Call/SMS detection LED" (4) stops blinking.
Indication of a missed call or a received SMS
If a call or a SMS has been received and the mobile phone was not taken from the mobile phone
ring tone amplifier, this is indicated by the „Call/SMS detection LED" (4) flashing at intervals of
20 seconds.

USB charging function

A USB recharger cable for mobile phones can be connected via the „USB charging connection"
(9) thus ensuring your mobile phone's battery is charged (charging cable not included).
Please consult the operating manual for your mobile phone, before using the
mobile phone ring tone amplifier's charging function.
You can obtain information about appropriate accessories for charging your
mobile phone via USB from specialist shops.
The green Status LED „CH". (8) flashes twice per second, while your mobile phone battery is
charging.
When the battery of your mobile phone is fully charged, the green „CH." status LED (8) glows
steady.
If the charging current exceeds 500mA, the charging function is stopped and
the green „CH." status LED (8) flashes 4 times per second. This is a protec-
tive measure to protect your mobile phone against damage.
Replacing the Battery

proceed as follows:
• Open the battery compartment on the back.
• Remove the used 9V battery.
• Connect the 9V battery, observing the correct polarity and insert it into the battery compart-
