The Solar Light should be installed in an area that gets
DIRECT SUNLIGHT. Your Solar Light will produce more
hours of Operation when it is installed in an area, which is
generally free from cover, shade, or shadowing.

'Place the Stake into the ground in the appropriate location,
making Sure not to darnage the surface of the Stake. D
INSTALLING. Place the Solar Light onto the Stake and
secure it to the Stake by screwing it on tightly as shown in
Figure 1. D

automatically every night. After the initial two-day Charge. you
do not have to turn the unit on and off.
l The top lens should be cleaned periodically with soap and
water for Optimum solar energy collection.
CAUTION: If the light is removed from the mounting Stake,
also remove the Stake to prevent tripping or other hazards.
l To replace the batteries on your Solar Light unleck the top lid
from the lens with a counter-clockwise twist. Turn the unit
upside down, twist the battery tray counterclockwise and
carefully separate. Be careful not to twist or pull the wires
l
Unplug both connectors from the battery lug terminals.
Note: The large connector is positive.
As shown in Figure 2, remove the Clip and lift the battery
pack from the holder. To replace with a new battety pack,
reverse the above procedure.
l The batteries must be replaced with our 'AA' size All-Saison
obtained from your retailer or by calling +49-9195-9494-960.
Reassemble the unit by reversing the first Step.
CAUTION: Dispose of batteties properly. D
Batteries must be charged Prior to use.
Turn the switch to the OFF Position and
sunny days. Then turn switch to the 'On'
Position. Light will illuminate upon nightfall.

Light may be poorly located in an area that
does not receive sufficient sunlight. If a
tree, house or other Object is shading the
light; the light should be moved to a
sunnier location.
Lighting time will always be shorter on
over-cast days.
Light is designed t'o automatically tum-on
when it is dark outside. If you try t0 teSt
Operation in daylight or under house lights,
unit may not come on. Check Operation
when dark. Make sure photo-sensor (top Of
unit) is not directed at any other light
