High-end 433 MHz 1-channel remote control b/n 61 75 89
Dear customer,
Thank you very much for the trust you have placed in us. This remote signal system uses advanced microprocessor technology in order to
guarantee highest safety of transmission.
In order to guarantee appropriate operation, please read these operating instructions including safety information completely and carefully
before use!
This product has been tested in accordance with the relevant EU guidelines for electromagnetic compatibility and complies with the statutory
provisions. It is recommended that you keep the instructions for use for future reference.
Intended use
The intended use of this device is the remote control of electrical consumers without safety-relevant application in connection with the 6-
channel transmitter b/n 61 74 88.
A different use than stated is not allowed!
Safety instructions
-
The use of the device under unfavorable environmental conditions must be avoided under all circumstances. Unfavorable
environmental conditions include: ambient temperatures below 0°C or above 40°C, flammable gases, solvents, vapors, dust, relative
humidity in excess of 80%, as well as splash water or moisture.
-
The receiver must only be operated in dry and closed rooms.
-
Devices with an operating voltage > 35V DC or > 25V AC may only be connected by authorized and qualified personnel observing the
respective safety requirements.
-
It is not allowed to use the remote control for switching electric circuits with a safety function of a machine or system based on them!
-
Before opening the receiver separate the device from all voltage sources and test that there is no voltage.
-
If there is reason to believe that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be switched off immediately and secured against
unintentional operation. Safe operation can no longer be assumed if the device is not functioning, has visible damage, has been
damaged in transport, or after storage under unfavorable conditions.
-
In case of doubt concerning the application or connection it is absolutely necessary to consult specialists, experts or the manufacturer.
-
Service and repairs may only be carried out by authorized and qualified personnel.
-
Only a 230-Volt AC voltage source is permissible as power source for the receiver (terminal ST3, L1, N) or use terminal ST2 for 12-Volt
DC, please check polarity!
-
Please make sure to use only one of both supply voltages simultaneously!
-
Please pay attention that the lines have an adequate cable cross section when installing the device!
-
Please insert appropriate fuses (8A) in the lines of the load current circuit.
-
In open condition the relay contacts do not provide complete separation from the power circuit. Therefore, the relays only offer a
functional On/Off-switching of line-operated devices! The relay contacts are separated from the control electronics by electroplating!
-
Service and repair – service or repairs may only be carried out by authorized and qualified personnel!
Description of the system
With this microprocessor-controlled remote signal system you have the opportunity, to activate devices by remote control. For this purpose
the manual transmitter is equipped with six keys allocated accordingly. With every keystroke the allocated relay in the receiver is switched.
The double-throw contacts of the relays enable an activation, deactivation or switchover function.
For data transfer a very safe encoding procedure (TEA) is used which sends a different key (Rolling Code) with every keystroke and thus
cannot be compromised by simple tapping and reusing a key once sent.
Furthermore, every manual transmitter has a unique identification character (Fix code) with which it is taught in at the receiver. This offers
the advantage that up to 10 different transmitters can be taught in, and that also several receivers each with clearly allocated transmitters
can be operated.
Check summing is one more safety measure in the transmitter and receiver (CRC). Only if both correspond, an action can be released, so
that signals mutilated by interferences can be rejected reliably and no unintended switching processes can be produced.
Transmitter
The manual transmitter has 6 keys for the remote control of 6 relays each in the receiver. The control panel is equipped with a LED for
function and battery control. During operation of the keys the LED flashes and thus indicates the transmission process. If the battery is weak
the LED will also flash quickly for approx. one second after releasing the key.
The advanced microprocessor technology enables a power consumption in the non-operated mode less than one microampere, so that
there is no waste of battery power. Therefore, the power consumption mainly depends on the number and duration of transmission
processes and guarantees a long battery life.
However, if the battery has to be changed, remove the screw cover at the lower side of the housing as well as the screw itself. After having
removed the colored front cover by means of a small screw driver you can open the housing and exchange the battery.
Receiver
The receiver is supplied either with power over the 230V AC power network (terminal ST3, L1, N) or by terminal ST2 with 12 Volt DC,
please check polarity!
Please make sure to use only one of both supply voltages simultaneously!
The device is not insulated and must therefore be operated by voltage in closed condition only!
For teaching in a transmitter, slightly push the centre of the closed housing to activate the teach-in key. The corresponding LED displays the
status information through the housing.
