municipal waste; it should be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device
should be returned to your distributor or to a local recycling service. Respect the local

Thank you for buying the EPATH2! Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into
service. If the device was damaged in transit, do not install or use it and contact your dealer.
2. Accessories included
Check the contents of the packaging. Your EPATH2 should include 8 x M5x6 screws, 4 x M6x30
screws, 1 x M4x8 screw and 1 x clamp.
3. Safety Instructions
Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages of this manual.
Do not touch the device during operation as the housing heats up.
Always disconnect mains power when the device is not in use or when servicing or
maintenance activities are performed. Handle the power cord by the plug only.
Keep this device away from rain and moisture.
• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty
and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
• Never touch the device with wet hands or when the heater is in operation. Let it cool down for ±
15 minutes before changing the tilt angle to avoid burns.
• Do not place objects directly in front of the device. Do not cover the heater with e.g. towels.
• Do not open the heater. Have a qualified technician repair the device if necessary.
• Keep the device away from water. Do not use it in a bathroom or near pools. Do not place this
device close to curtains and other combustible material.
• This device is not designed for professional use. The heater can be used indoors and outdoors.
When using the heater outdoors, make sure to install it under a shelter and to connect it to an
indoor power socket of max. 230VAC / 50Hz.
• This device falls under protection class I. It is therefore essential that the device be earthed. Have
a qualified person carry out the electric connection.
• Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the specifications of
this manual.
• Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage. Have an authorized dealer replace it
if necessary.
• Disconnect the device from the mains to clean it or when it is not in use. Handle the power cord
by the plug only.
• Do not connect the device to a dimmer but directly to a mains socket. Make sure the mains
socket remains accessible.
• There may be a particular smell when the device is activated for the first time. This is normal and
any smell will gradually disappear.
• Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
• Keep the device away from children and unauthorized users.
