Teach your students to tell time and calculate elapsed time!
How To Use the Elapsed Time Clock
Set the START time.
1.
to the left to operate the START watch. (See Figure 1.)
Move the blue minute hand on the START watch
until it is set to your desired start time. (See Figure 2.)
The time advances in 5-minute increments. The start
time is displayed both on the large watch face as
well as in the window below. To switch between
and . ., advance the minute hand 12 times around the

clock; you will see the
change as you pass 12:00.
Set the END time.

Move the blue minute hand on the END watch until
it is set to your desired end time. (See Figure 4.) The
time advances in 5-minute increments. The end time
is displayed both on the large watch face as well as
in the window below. To switch between
. ., advance the minute hand 12 times around the

clock; you will see the
change as you pass 12:00.
Check the ELAPSED time.

top of the stopwatch to open the door and reveal the
elapsed time. (See Figure 5.) To close the door, press
the button again.
When both watches are set to the same time, the
elapsed time displays as 0:00.
The maximum possible elapsed time on the stopwatch
is 23:55.
