Handling
• The wireless wall switch is only intended for use in dry indoor locations.
• Do not expose the product to the following unfavourable ambient conditions

• Avoid the following unfavourable environmental conditions at the installation
location and during transportation:
- Humidity and damp may damage the product
- Direct sunlight
- Extreme cold or heat
- Dust or flammable gases, fumes or solvents
- Strong vibrations
- Strong magnetic fields such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or loudspeakers
• Ensure that the insulation for the entire product is neither damaged nor destroyed. Never dis-
assemble the product! There are no serviceable parts inside.
• Check the product for damage before each use!
If you notice any damage, do not use the product any longer!
There is a risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possible:
- if the device is visibly damaged
- if the device no longer works
- if the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time
- the device was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.

Transmission Range

The transmission range of the radio signals between the wireless wall switch and an appropriate
receiver is up to 70 m under optimal conditions.
This value, however, is the so-called „open space range" (the range the trans-
mitter and receiver are visible to each other, without disturbing influences).
In practical operation, however, there are walls, ceilings of rooms etc. bet-
ween the transmitter and the receiver, which reduce the range accordingly.
Due to the differing influences on the radio transmission, no specific
range can be guaranteed.
However, trouble-free operation is usually possible in a detached house.
The range can sometimes be limited considerably by:
• Walls, reinforced concrete ceilings
• Coated/metallised insulated glass
• Proximity to metal & conducting objects (e.g. radiators)
• Proximity to human bodies
• Broadband interferences, e.g. in residential areas (DECT telephones, mobile phones, radio-
controlled headphones, radio-controlled speakers, radio-controlled weather stations, baby
phones etc.)
• Proximity to electric motors, transformers, power-supply units, computers
• The proximity to improperly shielded or uncovered operating computers or other electric appli-
ances
Disposal
a) General Information
Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to the current statutory requi-
rements.
b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechar-
geable batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited!
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these symbols to
indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. signs for the critical heavy
metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries and button cells free of charge to any aut-
horised disposal station in your area, to our stores or to any other store where batteries/storage
batteries/button cells are sold.
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the environment!
