Inserting/replacing batteries
• To open the battery compartment, unscrew the laser head from the shaft.
• Insert four new 1.5 V button cells LR41 (3) into the battery compartment, paying at-
tention to the correct polarity. The minus pole of the button cells (3) must always
point towards the laser aperture (1) (also see illustration above).
• Screw the shaft of the laser pointer back together.
• If the projection gets darker, the batteries are becoming flat. Replace the cells with
new ones as described above.

Operation

• The laser pointer is switched on and off by means of the laser button (2).
• If the laser button (2) is depressed, the laser beam exits the laser aperture (1).
Additional functions
• Pull the pen enclosure (4) out of the shaft of the laser pointer to use the pen.
• To replace the ballpoint refill (5), unscrew the stylus (6) from the shaft and pull the
ballpoint refill (5) out of its holder.
Insert the new ballpoint refill into the holder and screw the stylus (6) back into the
shaft.
• To use the stylus, move the soft head of the stylus (6) over the touch-sensitive
screen of you device.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for
any reason.
Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning.
Do not use aggressive detergents as these can cause discolouration of the case.
Disposal
a) Product
E lectronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed
of in the household waste!
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statu-
tory regulations.
Remove the batteries if there are batteries inserted and dispose of them
separately from the product.
b) Normal and rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries
and rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries contain harmful materials and are labelled
with the symbol shown to indicate that disposal in the household waste
is forbidden. The symbols of the relevant heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium,
Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (marking can be seen on the battery/rechargeable
battery, e.g., underneath the refuse bin symbol shown on the left).
You can return your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at
the official collection points of your community, in our stores, or at places
where batteries or rechargeable batteries are sold!
You thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
