Toasting bread / crisping up bread rolls

Toasting bread / crisping up bread rolls

General instructions

– Differences between types of
bread as well as moisture and
thickness of each slice affect
how the bread is toasted. Toast
brown bread using a higher
toasting setting than for white
bread. Stored dry bread toasts
quicker than fresh bread.
– It is possible to toast slices of
bread no thicker than 14 mm.
Do not use slices that are too
thick or large as these become
easily trapped.
– If a fault occurs or to clean the
appliance, always first pull the
mains plug out of the socket!
– If a slice of bread becomes
trapped first unplug the appli-
ance then release the bread us-
ing a blunt wooden object (e. g.
the handle of a wooden spoon).
Do not touch the heating wires
in the process.
