Anschlussleitung stecken und Kopfgarnitur
aufsetzen. Die Hörschalen sind am Kopf-
bügel so einzustellen, dass die Ohren gut
umgeschlossen werden und der Kopfbügel
auf der Kopfmitte aufliegt.
Eine optimale Sprachübertragung und best-
mögliche Geräuschkompensation ist dann
gegeben, wenn sich das Mikrofon in einem
Abstand von ca. 5 mm von den Lippen
befindet. Ist die Kopfgarnitur richtig ange-
schlossen, ersetzt der Betrieb mit Kopfgar-
nitur den Betrieb Freisprechen des SafeTel.
Daher ist der Betrieb Freisprechen bei an-
geschlossener Kopfgarnitur nicht möglich.
Wenn Sie das SafeTel mit der Laut-
sprecher-Taste einschalten, befinden Sie
sich im Kopfgarniturbetrieb. Mit den +/-
Tasten
am
SafeTel
kann
garniturlautstärke für das Gespräch geän-
dert werden. Eine dauerhafte Änderung der
Kopfgarniturlautstärke ist über das SafeTel
Menü „Einstellungen_Kopfgarnitur"
durchzuführen.
Betriebsende
Durch Drücken der Lautsprechertaste wird das
Gespräch beendet. Nehmen Sie die Kopfgarni-
tur ab. Wickeln Sie die Verbindungsleitung auf
und hängen Sie zusammen mit der Kopfgarni-
tur auf dem Bügel. Der Kopfgarniturbetrieb ist
durch Trennen des Verbindungssteckers der
Kopfgarnitur von der Anschlussleitung been-
det.
Benutzerinformationen
Die Kopfgarnitur ist nur für den Betrieb am
wettersicheren Telefon SafeTel vorgesehen
Die Kopfgarnitur ist nach Gebrauch bei norma-
ler Raumtemperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit auf-
zubewahren. Der zulässige Betriebstempera-
turbereich beträgt -10° C bis +55° C der zulässi-
ge Lagertemperaturbereich beträgt –40° C bis
+80° C
Verdrehen Sie nicht den flexiblen Schwanen-
hals und tragen Sie die Kopfgarnitur nicht am
Schwanenhals.
Bei dem Betrieb der Kopfgarnitur sind die ge-
setzlichen
und
gewerblichen
Unfallverhütungsvorschriften, sowie elektrische
Bestimmungen zu beachten.
Es ist darauf zu achten, dass die Anschlusslei-
tung sich nicht in laufende Maschinen oder
Rädern verfängt.
Vor einer Instandsetzung der Kopfgarnitur
muss sie vom SafeTel getrennt werden.
Pflege und Wartung
Beim Reinigen ist darauf zu achten, dass keine
Feuchtigkeit in das Innere der Kopfgarnitur
dringt.
Keine Lösungsmittel (z.B. Benzin, Alkohol) zum
Reinigen verwenden.
Losen Staub mit einem weichen Pinsel entfer-
nen. Wenn erforderlich, ist das Gerät außen mit
einem geeigneten, nur leicht mit klarem Was-
ser angefeuchteten, sauberen Tuch zu reini-
gen. Anschließend ist das Gerät
zureiben. Bei starker Verschmutzung kann
zusätzlich etwas Spülmittel verwendet werden.
Die Steckerkontakte mit einem handelsüblichen
Kontaktreinigungsmittel reinigen.
Entsorgung
Die Komplettentsorgung der Kopfgarnitur
erfolgt über den Elektronikschrottabfall. Bei
der Demontage sind die Komponenten
Kunststoff, Metall und Elektronik separat zu

SafeTel. For this reason the handsfree mode of the

you switch on the SafeTel with the loudspeaker key
you are operating in headset mode. With the +/-
keys of the SafeTel you can change the receiving

volume of the headset for the actual conversation. If
you want to change the receiving volume of the
headst permanently use the SafeTel menu „ Set-
tings_Headset Volume".
End of Operation
You terminate the conversation by pressing
the loudspeaker key. Take off the headset.
Coil the connecting cord and hang it on the
bracket together with the headset. You ter-
minate the headset mode if you disconnect
the connecting plug of the headset from the
connecting cord.
User Information
The headset is intended to be used only with
the weather-Safeant telephone SafeTel.
After use, keep the headset at normal room
temperature and at a normal relative air
humidity. The permissible operating tem-
perature range is
-10°C to +55°C the permissible storage tem-
perature range is –40°C to +80°C.
Do not twist the flexible gooseneck and do
not carry the headset by the gooseneck.
When operating the headset, please heed
the legal and commercial / industrial regula-

Ensure that the connection cord does not get
caught up in operational machinery or
wheels.
Before repair, the headset has to be discon-
nected from the SafeTel.
Maintenance
When cleaning, ensure that no moisture is al-
lowed to penetrate the inside of the headset.
Do not use any solvents (e.g. fuel, alcohol
etc.).
Remove any loose dust with a soft brush. If
necessary, clean the outside with a suitable
clean tissue only slightly moistened with clear
water and subsequently rub the device dry

again. If heavily soiled, a little dishwashing
liquid can be used in addition.
Clean the plug terminals with a commonly
available contact cleaning agent.
Waste Disposal
The headset may be completely recycled as
electronic waste. Upon disassembling the
device the plastic, metal and electronic com-
ponents must be disposed of separately.
