Hinweis
Vor Installation des Gerätes ist die Bedie-
nungsanleitung sorgfältig zu lesen.
Anwendung
Das Kopfhörer-Set ermöglicht den Anschluss
einer Kopfgarnitur an das wetterfeste Telefon
SafeTel.
Die Kopfgarnitur verbessert wesentlich die
Kommunikation in lärmerfüllter Umgebung.
Sie schützt vor schädigendem Umgebungs-
lärm.
Sie erlaubt Telefonkommunikation bei Tätigkei-
ten bei deren Verrichtung beide Hände benötigt
werden.
Verpackungsinhalt
Das Set besteht aus:
- Kopfgarnitur mit dynamischen Hörkapseln,
geräuschkompensierenden
Nahbesprechungsmikrofon mit Windschutz
und flexiblen Schwanenhals, sowie 80 cm
glatter Leitung mit Verbindungsstecker
- 14 m lange Anschlussleitung, mit Verbin-
dungsbuchse zur Kopfgarnitur und Kabel-
ende mit Aderendhülsen zum Anklemmen
an das SafeTel
- Kabelverschraubung M20x1,5 zur Einfüh-
rung der Anschlussleitung in das SafeTel
- Bügel und Schrauben zum Aufhängen der
Anschlussleitung und der Kopfgarnitur
Montage und Anschließen
Zur Befestigung des Bügels am SafeTel sind
im Gehäuserückwand des Telefons zwei
Gewindebuchsen eingelassen. Der Bügel
weist entsprechende Bohrungen auf, durch
die, mittels Senkkopfschrauben, eine Befe-
stigung an das Telefon ermöglicht wird (sie-
he Betriebsanleitung SafeTel). Somit muss,
bei Verwendung des Bügels, dieser zuerst
befestigt werden. Danach kann die Wand-
montage des Telefons erfolgen.
Zum Anschließen der Kopfgarnitur ist einer der
am Telefongehäuse des SafeTel befindlichen
Verschlussstopfen zu entfernen und durch eine
Kabelverschraubung M20x1,5 IP66 zu erset-
zen. Die Anschlussleitung ist mit den Leitungs-
enden durch die Kabelverschraubung durchzu-
führen und mit der Kabel-verschraubung zu
fixieren. Die Aderenden sind (gemäß An-
schlusstabelle) an die Klemmen 5 bis 10 im
SafeTel anzuschließen.

Application
The Headset-Kit permits the connection of
a headset to the weather-Safeant telephone
SafeTel.
The headset
communication in ambient noise areas.
It protects against harmful ambient noise.
It permits telephone communication during
activities where both hands are needed.
Packing Contents
The set consists of:
- Headset with dynamic receiver insets,
Elektret- noisecompensating electret nearfield re-
sponse microphone with windshield and
gooseneck, as well as 80 cm smooth cord
with connecting plug
- A 14 m long connecting cord with a con-
necting jack at one end and with wire-ends
with wire-end sleeves at the other end to
connect to the SafeTel.
- Cable gland M20x1,5 to lead the connect-
ing cord into the SafeTel
- bracket and screws to hang up the con-
necting cord and the headset
Mounting and Connection
For the attachment of the bracket there are
two built in threaded bushings in the rear side
of the SafeTel case. The bracket has mating
drill holes through which it can be fastened by
means of flat head screws (see operating
manual of the SafeTel) . So if you want to use
the bracket it has to be mounted first on to the
rear side of the SafeTel. Afterwards the wall
mounting of the telephone can take place.
To connect the headset remove one of the
sealing plugs to be found at the bottom part
of the SafeTel case and screw in the cable
gland M20x1,5 completely. Lead the con-
necting cord with the wire ends through the
cable gland, fasten the cord with the cable
gland and connect the wire ends (according
to the connection table) to the terminals 5
to 10 in the SafeTel.
