Installation

• For the installation, place the oil-fi lled radiant heater on a soft surface so that the housing
cannot get scratched.
The heating ribs are not 100% fi lled with oil. Thus, when turning the heater, you will
hear gurgling sounds of the oil inside the gills. This is normal.
• Attach the two plastic feet to the bottom of the heater.
The H-shaped foot is attached to the outer heating rib see
ilustration on the right.
The C-shaped foot is attached under the electronics housing
until it locks in place.
• Turn the oil-fi lled radiant heater over so that it is standing on the feet.

Operation

• Turn the on/off switch off (switch position "0").
• Turn the thermostat controller counter-clockwise to the position "LOW".
• Plug the mains plug into an earthing contact socket.
• Switch the oil-fi lled radiator on (move on/off switch to position "I").
• With the thermostat control (1) you can set the temperature at which the radiant heater will
be switched off. If the temperature drops by several degrees, the heater will be switched on
again automatically.
If the heater of the oil-fi lled radiator is turned on, a red control lamp in the on/off
switch lights up. If the thermostat of the heater switches off, the control lamp goes
out.
• If the device is not used for a longer time, switch it off (switch position "0") and disconnect the
mains plug from the mains socket.
Let the radiator cool down completely and store it in a clean, dry place.

Maintenance and Cleaning

• Only a professional repair shop should attempt to maintain or repair the device. The product
contains no parts that require servicing. Therefore, do not open/dismantle it.
• The heater must be switched off before cleaning. Furthermore, disconnect the mains plug
from the mains socket. Then allow the heater to cool down completely.
• To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is suffi cient.
• Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft and long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since
these could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regu-
lations.
