Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing

 Always switch off the deep fat fryer before cleaning. Unplug the
power plug and let the unit completely cool down. Do not pull the
cable to unplug the unit, but use the power plug instead.
 Disconnect the deep fat fryer from the power mains, when you do
not use the unit. Only this way you can be sure, that the unit is
completely turned off and remains switched off.
 Do not clean the thermostat in the dishwasher and do not immerse it
into water or any other liquid. Before using again the deep fryer, dry
it completely. All other parts of the deep fryer are dishwasher-safe.
 Clean the housing only with a slightly moistened cloth or paper towel
and dry it thoroughly. Use detergent when needed.
 Clean the oil container with a moistened sponge or the like and
remove debris and oil residues. Loosen food residues only with a
wooden or plastic fork to avoid damaging the surface. Dry the
container thoroughly after cleaning. Make sure that there is no more
water in the container when heating up again.
 Do not use any sharp detergents, aggressive chemicals, metallic or
sharp items to clean the deep fryer in order not to damage the
surfaces.
 Pull up the heating/control unit from the device if you want to clean
it. Please note: The deep fat fryer can only be operated when the
heating/control unit has been properly installed.
