4. Switch the thermostat controller to the OFF position when you do
not use the device and afterwards pull the power plug.
5. Let the frying oil cool down and then empty the device.

Overheat Protection

The deep fryer is equipped with a non-resettable overheat protection. If
the overheat protection activates, the fryer becomes damaged and
cannot be operated again. Therefore never operate the deep fryer with
less or without oil.

Changing used Oil

 Please change consumed oil when it goes dark or the smell
changes.
 Wait for approx. 2 hours before you start to clean the device and
filter the oil.
 Always change the oil completely. Do not mix old and new oil.
 Do not dispose of the oil in the rubbish bin, but collect it e. g. in an
empty packaging or canister and dispose off, eco-friendly at a
buyback centre.

Permanent Filter in the Lid

The lid of the deep fryer has a metal filter (6). This filter substantially
collects odours.
If necessary, the filter can be cleaned. Remove the cover of the metal
filter and place the lid into the dishwasher.
Allow the filter to dry well before next use.

Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing

 Always switch off the deep fat fryer before cleaning. Unplug the
power plug and let the device completely cool down. Do not pull the
cable to unplug the device, but use the power plug instead.
 Disconnect the deep fat fryer from the power mains, when you do
not use the device. Only this way you can be sure, that the device is
completely turned off and remains switched off.
