Features
Power – Turns tuner on and off
Auto/Manual – Changes tuner from automatic to manual
mode. Default is auto after power up.
Note – Selects note being tuned when in manual mode
Calibrate – Adjusts reference pitch from A435 to A445.
A440 is the default after power up.
Tuning Modes
This tuner offers two modes of tuning: Auto and Manual.
Auto – Tuner automatically recognizes note to be tuned.

Manual – User selects note to be tuned
Tuning Procedure
Auto – Auto is the default tuning mode after power up
("AUTO" will be displayed on screen).
Play note to be tuned. Tuner will recognize the pitch, and the
LCD meter and LED lights will indicate whether note is
sharp or flat. Tune instrument until LCD meter is at zero and
green LED is lit.
Manual – After power up, press Auto/Manual button to enter
manual mode ("MAN" will be displayed on screen).
Select note to be tuned using the note button. Play note.
Tuner will recognize the pitch, and the LCD meter and LED
lights will indicate whether note is sharp or flat. Tune instru-
ment until LCD needle is at zero and green LED is lit.
Calibration
The tuner may be calibrated to different pitch frequencies.
A440 is the default after power up. Pressing the Calibrate
button will cycle through the pitch frequencies one hertz at a
time. The tuner can be calibrated to any frequency between
A335 – A445.
Bracket Instructions
To use as a table stand, pull bracket down until it is fully
extended and flip backwards until bracket engages guide
channel.

To use as a Tuner-Up bracket, pull bracket down until it is
fully extended and flip forward until bracket engages guide
channel. Use hook section to hang tuner from the sound

Hay dos maneras de afinar: Automática y manualmente.

afinarse.

afinar.
Procedimiento
Automático – Es el modo en que está programado el calibrador,
luego de encendido. (En la la pantalla de cristal, se leerá
"AUTOMATICO"). Tocar la nota que necesita afinarse. El sin-
tonizador reconocerá el tono y la pantalla de cristal (LCD), con
el emisor de luz (LED), indicarán el tono en que está la nota.
Gradue hasta que la aguja (LCD), marque cero y la luz verde
(LED), esté encendida.
Manual - Luego de prender, seleccione el botón de Automático
o Manual. Seleccione la nota que desee afinar. La pantalla de
cristal (LCD) y el emisor de luz (LED), indicarán el tono en el
que está la nota. Gradue hasta que la aguja (LCD), marque
cero y la luz verde (LED), esté encendida.
Calibración
El sintonizador puede calibrarse a diferentes frecuencias de
tono. El sintonizador está calibrado automáticamente en A440.
Presionando el botón para calibrar la frecuencia, ésta cambiará
gradualmente entre A335 y A445.
Soportes
Para usarlos como soporte de mesa, extenderlos totalmente y
doblarlos hacia atrás hasta que enganchen
en su canal guía.

Tuning Tips
• Pluck one string at a time, while lightly touching or "damping" the other strings.
This will prevent sympathetic vibrations, which can disrupt tuning.
• Pluck string once per second. Notes go flat a few seconds after plucking, which can
lead to inaccurate tuning of the instrument.
• Pluck strings using the flesh of your thumb, with moderate pressure. Plucking too
hard may cause the pitch to temporarily rise, confusing the tuner and your ear.
Using a pick can add overtones that can disrupt tuning.
• Always tune the string from flat (below desired pitch) up to the correct pitch. Tuning
down from sharp (above desired pitch) to pitch can lead to backlash in the gears of
your tuning machines, which can cause the string to go flat while playing.
• When tuning new strings, be sure to stretch them for accurate tuning. This can be
done by gently pulling strings from the middle (around the 12th fret) and re-tuning
until they maintain their pitch. This will prevent them from going flat while playing.

Consejos para afinar:
• Puntear una cuerda a la vez, mientras se sostienen las demás
suavemente. Esto evitará vibraciones incómodas que entor
pecerían un afinamiento adecuado.
• Puntear las cuerdas, una por segundo. Las notas pueden desafi
narse después del punteo, lo que puede llevar a un afinamiento
incorrecto.
• Puntear la nota usando la parte interior de su dedo anular, con
presión moderada. Puntear muy fuerte, causaría que el tono suba
momentaneamente, confundiendo el instrumento y su oido. El uso
de una lengüeta, puede aumentar los tonos y entorpecer el afi
namiento.
• Siempre afinar la cuerda desde un tono menor al que se quiere
llegar. Calibrando desde un tono mayor, puede ocasionar un mal
afinamiento y luego la cuerda perder tonalidad en pleno trabajo.
• Cuando se afinen cuerdas nuevas, tener la seguridad de estirarlas
correctamente. Esto se puede lograr, jalando suavemente las
cuerdas desde el centro del traste 12 y reafinar hasta que lleguen
al tono correcto. Esto evitará que la cuerdas pierdan tonalidad en
pleno trabajo. Para mejores resultados, recomendamos, el Planet

para ayudar a estirar las cuerdas.
