General description

The "IZAR RADIO COMPACT 868 ACM" radio module (here-
inafter referred as radio module), is a unidirectional radio
transmitter, which is suitable for gas meter with Abso-
lute-ENCODER AE2 and AE3 (e.g. Elster). Possibly request
the list of compatibility from your sales.
The radio module uses the internationally valid standard pro-
tocol for communications according to EN 13757, which was
developed following the recommendations of CEN TC 294.
The radio module is used in mobile or stationary radio reading.
The lifecycle of the radio module under normal operating
conditions is typically up to 12 years.
The radio module must be installed and used in
firm compliance with the specified rules in the
present technical description.
Any manipulation or installation, that is not properly carried
out and does not correspond to the mentioned regulations,
obviates any responsibility on the part of Diehl Metering. In
this case, the responsibility lies solely with the originator.
