HELLO,
we are delighted to present you with your personal, individual high-performance headset,
which was designed for you and you alone. We hope that you will enjoy using it!
Please follow the instructions in the user manual carefully.

SAFETY INFORMATION – BEFORE SWITCHING ON
To avoid damage to your ears, ensure that the volume of your player is set to low before you
use your headset. After you have set the volume on the headset, increase it slowly until you
reach a comfortable level.
Enjoy music at a reasonable volume and avoid overloading your ears for too long and at too
high a volume, as this can lead to hearing damage. With our individual headsets, you will enjoy
an extraordinary listening experience, even at low volumes.
Do not use the headset if this could put you in danger; for example, if you are driving, crossing
a road, or you are in an environment that demands your full attention.
Do not use the product if it is obviously damaged. Avoid bringing the headset into direct
contact with water.
Keep the product, its packaging and accessories well away from children and pets, in order to
avoid accidents and a risk of suffocation.
Only you should wear the headset, as this was produced especially for you and is suitable for
your ears only. Do not pass the product on for use by anyone else.
CONNECTION | OPERATION | ENJOYING MUSIC
Connect the headset to your player using the 3.5 mm jack.
To avoid damage to your ears, ensure that the volume of your player is set to low before you
use your headset. After you have set the volume on the headset, increase it slowly until you
reach a comfortable level.
Place the device with the red cerumen protection filter in your right ear and the device with
the blue cerumen protection filter in your left ear. At the same time, pull your ear lobe down
slightly if necessary and push the headset carefully into your ear with a slight turning motion.
The earphones are tailored to you and guarantee a comfortable and secure fit in your ear.
Start the music and enjoy the wonderful sound.
After listening, remove the headset slowly and carefully, with a slight turning motion,
to release it from your ear.
When removing the 3.5 mm jack from the player, do not pull on the cable
but always on the jack.
USING THE MICROPHONE AND BUTTON
AUDIA PH L headsets are delivered with an audio cable with an integrated microphone
and button, for use with your smartphone, music player or tablet. The following features

THE CERUMEN PROTECTION FILTER
To protect the high-quality headset against cerumen (earwax) or perspiration, an innovative
cerumen protection filter is built into the output. The standard integrated fit is an HF3 black
filter (Ø 3.11 mm); for small ear channels, an HF4 black (Ø 2.40 mm) is used.
The sound experience is influenced by dirt in the cerumen protection filter and this should
therefore be changed periodically. It is very simple to change it and you can do it yourself.
Ask your acoustician which cerumen protection filter was built into your system. He will be
delighted to show you the simple cerumen filter exchange procedure and you will be able to
purchase the right filter set, including a change tool, through your acoustician.
When changing or buying cerumen protection filters, ensure that these come in red and blue.
The color acts as the side marking (Red=Right, Blue=Left); therefore, place the red cerumen
protection in the right earpiece and the blue cerumen protection in the left earpiece for
simple side recognition.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning and maintaining the PH
Protect the headset against liquids, extreme temperatures, pressure or dropping. If the
headset is dirty, wipe it carefully with a cleaning cloth. Moisture and perspiration can damage
the electronics. We therefore recommend drying the headset with a DRYBOX (electronic
drying box). Please note the cerumen filter changing instructions. Cleaning media, cerumen
protection filters and DRYBOX are available from your acoustician.
Always keep your PH
Keep the case closed and store it in a clean, dry environment.
Avoid kinking the cable.

DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS
In compliance with the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Code, this product cannot be
disposed of in household waste. Instead, the product must be delivered to an appropriate
collection point for electrical and electronic equipment recycling. In this way, you will be
making an important contribution to maintaining our environment. Returning equipment
from private households to communal collection points is free of charge.
Further information on where you can deliver your electrical and electronic equipment
can be obtained from your city/district council, your waste disposal operators or from the
business where you purchased this product.
