Anschließen
Der Druckminderer, 1.Stufe kann je
nach Ausstattung mit DIN- oder
Bügel- Anschluß am Flaschenventil
angeschlossen werden. Bei
- DIN, O-Ring am Druckminderer,
- Bügel, O-Ring am Flaschenventil
auf einwandfreien Zustand prüfen.
Handrad oder Bügelschraube nur
handfest anziehen.
Prüfen
Vor dem Öffnen des Flaschenventils
am Mundstück der 2.Stufe saugen.
Kann dabei keine Luft angesaugt
werden, ist die Atemregler-Gruppe
und speziell das Ausatemventil dicht.
Falls ein Leck spürbar ist, den
Tauchgang nicht antreten und die
Atemregler-Gruppe durch einen Sach-
kundigen instandsetzen lassen.
Ist keine Undichtigkeit vorhanden,
Flaschenventil langsam öffnen.
Atemregler-Gruppe durch
mehrfaches, kräftiges Beatmen auf
ausreichenden Luftstrom prüfen.
Luftdusche 2 bis 3 mal betätigen.
Es darf kein freies Abströmen von Luft
durch das Ausatemventil vorhanden
sein.
Falls doch, Atemregler-Gruppe durch
einen Sachkundigen instandsetzen
lassen.

Connection
According to its outfit the pressure
reducer, 1st stage can be engaged to
the cylinder valve with a DIN- or yoke-
connection. At
- DIN, O-ring on the pressure reducer,
- YOKE, O-ring on cylinder valve
should be checked for its perfect
condition.
Tighten handwheel or yoke screw
snugly. Do not over tighten.
Testing
Before opening the cylinder valve try
to draw air through the mouthpiece of
the 2nd stage. Failure to obtain air
confirms that the demand regulator
group and especially the exhaust
valve are sealing properly.
If leakage is evident the dive should
be aborted and the demand regulator
group maintained by an expert.
Is no leakage evident open cylinder
valve slowly.
Take several deep breathes through
the demand regulator group to
confirm proper air flow.
Push purge button 2 or 3 times.
It should be no free-flow through the
exhaust valve.
If free-flow is evident, the demand
regulator group should be maintained
by an expert
