4.2 Operating elements and connections

This user manual describes the DB-100 as a reference. The DB-100B is identical.
N Power on/off
Press this button to turn the unit on and off.
N Sensitivity control
Trimming controls for sensitivity adjustment of the left and
right channel.
N LED level display
80-digit LED display of the level for the left channel
(upper line) and the right channel (lower line) within the
range of -57 dB to 0 dB.
N Line input
Stereo input (RCA) for connecting the signal source of
which the level is to be displayed (e.g. mixer, effect unit,
playback unit).
N Line output
Stereo input (RCA) for connecting a subsequent unit with
line level (e.g. mixer, amplifier, a further DB-100 or
N Display mode DOT/BAR
Selector switch for the display mode of the LEDs.
Position DOT (dot display): Only two LEDs will light up
and move with the audio level to the left and to the right.
Position BAR (bargraph display): Depending on the signal
level all LEDs within the range of -57 dB to 0 dB will light
up.
