2. Extent of Delivery

3. Safety Instructions

• This product is intended for private, non-commercial
use only.
• Use the product for its intended purpose only.
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating,
• and only use it in dry locations.
• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of
heaters or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
• Lay all cables so that they do not pose a tripping hazard.
• Do not bend or crush the cable.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any
major shocks.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the product.
• Dispose of packaging material immediately according to
locally applicable regulations.
Do not modify the device in any way. Doing so voids the
warranty.

4. Systemvorrausetzung

• Computer or laptop with at least one free USB port
• Windows Vista/7/8.x
• Mac OS X 10.8.x/10.9.x/10.10.x
• Linux with kernel 2.6.34 or later
5. Installation and Operation
5.1 Installation in Windows Vista, 7 and 8.x
These Windows operating systems already come standard
with a suitable driver, so it is not necessary to install a
driver manually.
• Start your operating system and connect the USB to
parallel converter to a free USB port.
• Your system recognizes and installs the cable.
Note - Windows Vista and 7
You can check whether the converter was installed
successfully under Start -> Control Panel ->
Performance and Maintenance -> System ->
Hardware -> Device Manager. The following entry
must appear without a yellow exclamation mark:
