CT-S/POF und die Buchse CT-B/POF
wird die Crimptiefe auf 1,45 mm
eingestellt�

Die Skala-Anzeige (A) hat eine Teilung
von 0,2 mm. Eine Stellradumdrehung
entspricht 0,2 mm.

Pos. 2, für Stift CT-S/POF in Pos. 1.
Achtung
Die Positionierbolzen (P) dürfen

sein�

POF Kontakt in die Crimpstelle bis
zum Anschlag einlegen und Zange bis
zur ersten Raststufe schließen� Das
vorbereitete Kabel in den POF Kontakt
bis zum Anschlag einführen, mit leich-
tem Druck Kabel und Kontakt gegen
den Anschlag drücken und Zange
ganz schließen� Beim Loslassen muss
sich die Zange öffnen� Dies gewähr-
leistet, dass der Crimpvorgang korrekt
durchgeführt wurde�

Settings

Set the crimping depth by turning the
knob (S). For the pin CT-S/POF and the
socket CT-B/POF, the crimping depth
is set at 1,45 mm.

Each division on the scale (A) cor-
responds to 0,2 mm. One turn of the
knob (S) corresponds to 0,2 mm.

Pull out the locator (L) and turn to the
desired position. For socket CT-B/POF

Attention
The positioning pins (P) may not
be pushed in and locked�

Push in positioning pin (P) on the loca-
tor and lock by turning through 90 °.
Crimping
(ill. 5)
Insert optical fibre contact in the
crimping opening and close the pliers
to the first engagement point. Insert
the prepared cable into the optical
fibre contact as far as it will go, gently
press cable and contact against the
stop and close the pliers completely�
The pliers must open when released�
This ensures that the crimping opera-
tion has been correctly carried out�
