3. inStallation

3.1 Purelink WHd100-V2 transmitter (tX) connections
1. Connect max. 2 HD devices (HDMI OUT) via HDMI to your WHD100-V2 Transmitter (HDMI IN).
2. Connect your HDTV or HD Projector (HDMI IN) via HDMI to the WHD100-V2 Transmitter (HDMI OUT)
in order to use the inbuilt loop-through function.
3. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN of the WHD100-V2 Transmitter and to a socket.
3.2 Purelink WHd100-V2 receiver (rX) connections
DC IN
1. Connect your HDTV or HD Projector (HDMI IN) via an HDMI cable to the WHD100-V2 Receiver
(HDMI OUT).
2. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN of the WHD100-V2 Receiver and to an electrical socket.
note: use the 2 plugs and 2 screws if you wish to attach the WHd100-V2 receiver to the wall
(e.g. behind your HdtV).

3.3 connect ir extender / Sensor

Plug the IR LED Extender cable into the IR OUT connector of the WHD100-V2 Transmitter. Attach the
IR LEDs to the front of your HD devices. This will now send all received infrared commands via the IR
Sensor of the WHD100-V2 Receiver.
note: the ir Sensor extender cable supports 36kHz to 56kHz (nec, rc5, rc6) infrared remote
controls. Some devices may not be supported.
4. uSage
4.1 using the WHd100-V2
1. Insert two AAA batteries into the remote control.
2. Once the power adapter has been inserted into the socket, the PureLink WHD100-V2 Transmitter
and Receiver will switch on automatically.
1. If the WHD100-V2 is in Standby mode (red POWER LED), press the ON/OFF button of the
WHD100-V2 Transmitter and Receiver to switch them on. It takes about 80 seconds for the system
to start up.
2. While warming up, the Power LED will flash blue until the signal connection between the
transmitter and receiver has been established.
note: Place the transmitter and receiver at least 2 meters apart to ensure a good connection.
