Case Cleaner Instructions, May 2007
Do not use liquid in the tumbler. The tumbler was not
designed for the use of liquid (the bowl is not properly
sealed to prevent liquid from seeping into the motor). Use
of liquid in the tumbler can cause an electrical hazard,
damage to the motor, and the use of flammable liquid
can result in fire. Use of liquid in the tumbler will also
void the warranty.
You can use liquid additives for dry media such as
Dillon's Rapid Polish 290, so long as it does not result in
standing liquid in the bottom of the bowl.
Tumbling Loaded Ammo
Some people have taken to tumbling their loaded
ammunition to remove the lube on the brass cases. While
this does work, remember to not exceed 15-20 minutes
of tumbling time. We have found that lead bullets or
exposed lead on jacketed bullets becomes dirty black and
are not easily cleaned.

I'm Done, Now What...
Once the cases have been cleaned you will need to
separate the brass from the media.
Dillon offers a case/media separator specifically
designed for this task.
Turn the tumbler off and remove the lid. Pick up the
tumbler and pour the contents into the case/media sepa-
rator. Close the lid and rotate the crank several times.
Open the separator and inspect your brass inside and
out to make sure that no media is lodged in the flash
holes or stuck in the primer pockets. Repeat as neces-
sary.
The empty cases are now ready to reload.
