7) Turning Navigation On
Press the navigation button to start the current primary navigation app. You can store multi-
ple navigation systems on the LAMAX DRIVE S5 Navi+ multimedia system. Press and hold the
icon in the navigation menu to choose the primary navigation system.
8) Audio Controls
Left and right arrows control the audio of the device. When recording, the buttons amplify and
reduce the microphone sensitivity. When not recording, the buttons increase and decrease
the speaker volume.
9) Controls
Camera is controlled by a combination of touch controls and physical buttons below the dis-
play. Most controls are the same as standard Android tablet controls.
a. Previous Application
Navigates to the last used application.
b. Menu Icon
Navigates to the directory of individual multimedia system functions.
c. Hide Panel Icon
Hides the vertical icon panel.
d. Back Icon
Returns you to the previous screen.
e. Application Icon
Navigates to the app list in the multimedia centre. Apps can be freely installed and uninsta-
lled, depending on available memory space.
f. Turn Off Rear Camera Icon
Turns off the rear camera video on the display.
g. Toggle Cameras Icon
Switches between various front and rear camera viewing modes.
h. Camera Settings Icon
Pressing the settings icon allows you to adjust individual settings for recording, formatting
the card or restoring factory settings. Factory reset erases all data and apps which were
not included by default.
i. Mute/Unmute Icon
Touch to enable or disable the camera microphone when recording.
j. Lock Video Icon
Touch to lock the video currently being recorded. Locking the file prevents the camera
from overwriting it whilst loop recording.
k. Gallery Icon
Touch to enter Gallery mode. In the gallery you can view all recorded videos and photos.
Toggle between unlocked videos, locked videos and photos.
l. Record Icon
Touch the icon to begin or stop recording video.
m. Photo Icon
Touch the icon to take a photo from the front camera.
