USING THE APPLIANCE

1. Connect the appliance.
2. Check that the crumb tray is
correctly positioned.
3. Place the bread slices in the toaster
openings. Never place bread
directly on top of the appliance.
4. Press the lever as far down as
it will go. The appliance starts
immediately.
5. Slide the button for adjusting the
toasting level to set the desired
toasting level (time). 1 is the shortest
time and 6 is the longest.
6. When the bread is ready, it will
automatically be ejected and the
heating elements will turn off.
7. Stopping: If you wish to cancel the
toasting, press the STOP button
canceling the toasting. The bread
will be ejected and the heating
elements will be turned off.
8. Defrosting: Should you wish to toast
frozen bread, insert the frozen bread
slices into the slots, and slide the
button to select the desired toasting
level. Then press the lift lever as far
down as it will go, and afterwards
press the DEFROST button.
9. Reheating: Should you wish to
reheat bread, insert the bread into
the slots, and press the lever as
far down as it will go. Then press
the REHEAT button. The bread
will be reheated without toasting
further and will automatically pop
up when it is ready. Do NOT use the
reheating function if the bread has
been spread with butter or such
like.
10. Bagels: Should you wish to toast
the bagels or the rolls on one side,
you shall place the bread into the
slots with the cutting surface facing
outwards. Slide the button to select
the desired toasting level and press
the lift lever as far down as it will go.
Then press the BAGEL button.
11. Fit the grid on top of the appliance
so that the metal holder fits into the
toaster openings.
12. Remove the plug from the socket
and allow the appliance to cool after
use.
