Ready for operation
Warning
Do not put down any loads, except your feet, on the product treads.
Otherwise, the driving sensors may be activated, the product put into
motion and people or obstacles may be hit. This may result in personal
injury and damage to property.

6.3. Product operation

Note
When switching on, make sure that the product is on a flat, even
surface.
The device has three operating modes:
• Beginner Mode: This mode limits the speed to 6 km/h. The device
reacts more subtly to turning movements.
To choose the mode, place the device on the floor while switched off.
By briefly pushing the 5 button once, the device will automatically
adjust to the neutral position. The device is now in Beginner Mode.
• Pro Mode: This mode limits the speed to 15 km/h.
Caution
Caution: the device reacts significantly more sensitively to turning
movements. Higher speeds increase the risk of injury.
• To choose the mode, place the device on the floor while switched off.
By briefly pushing the 5 button twice, the device will automatically
adjust to the neutral position. The device is now in Pro Mode.
• Safety mode: In the case that the motor, battery or controller
is too hot, or the battery is not charged enough, the product will
automatically switch into safety mode.
Warning
Dismount immediately and switch the product off, if the following
alarm signals indicate that the product is in safety mode:
• Flashing front LEDs
• Red status LEDs (6.1 Figure 3, no. 3 and no. 4)
• Product brakes automatically
• Alarm sound

Contact the Support team (12.3) if the device unusually switches into the
alarm mode after charging.
The device is set into motion as follows:
Transferring weight onto the balls of your feet or heels activates the
movement buttons under the treads, thereby moving the wheels in the
direction of where your feet are pressing and you move forwards or
backwards. When you lean forwards or backwards, your centre of gravity
shifts and the contact surface of the wheels (the point where the wheels
touch the ground) shifts accordingly, and the device leans forwards or
backwards, as well.
However, you have to keep balance by yourself. Otherwise, you may tip
over.
This product does not have any lateral stabilising mechanisms.
If the product is tilted far enough that the wheel loses traction, it can no
longer centre itself beneath you and you may tip over.
You have to keep balance laterally by yourself, as well. Therefore, always
make sure that your body is aligned with the centreline of the product.
Do not lean into turns or into slopes if you are driving across the slope.
Note
• Do not overestimate yourself. Accelerate slowly to develop full
control over the product. We also recommend that only experienced
drivers drive across the slope.
• If this is your first time using this kind of product, we recommend
receiving help from a second person. This person should hold
your hands to keep you stable. Try to keep yourself steady to start
with and try not to make any hectic movements. The device will
support your balance, so try not to work against the compensating
movements. Instead, concentrate on your own balance.
