• Never place containers containing liquids, e.g. glasses, buckets, vases or plants, on the device or in its vicinity. Liquids
may enter the casing inside and will destroy the device. There also is a danger of fire!
In this case, switch off the device and disconnect all cables from it. Remove the batteries. Do not operate any part of
the product anymore afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.
• The following unfavourable conditions are to be avoided at the place of installation and during transport:
- dampness or too high humidity
- cold or heat, direct solar radiation
- dust or flammable gases, fumes or solvents
- strong vibration, impact or blows
- strong magnetic fields as present near machines or speakers
• Select a stable, level, horizontal and sufficiently large area. Protect expensive furniture surfaces from impressions or
scratches with suitable pads.
• Never use the product immediately after it was taken from a cold into a warm environment. The condensation genera-
ted may destroy the product. The mains unit also involves the risk of a fatal electric shock!
Let the product reach room temperature before connecting and using it. This may take several hours.
• Ensure that no part of the entire product insulation is damaged or destroyed. Never open the device. Check the pro-
duct for damage before each use! If you find any damage, remove the inserted batteries, and do not connect the
product to the mains voltage with the external mains unit. Take the product to a specialised workshop or dispose of it
in an environmentally friendly way.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the connection cables are neither bent nor pinched. Place all cables
where no one can trip over them.
• Never reach into the ventilation slots and openings of the device with pointed objects (e.g. ballpoint pen, pins and
knitting needles, paper clips, etc.). This will destroy the device.
• Handle the product with care; impacts, shock or fall even from low heights will damage it.
• In schools, training centres, hobby and self-help workshops, the use of the product must be supervised by responsible
trained personnel.
• If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be turned off and precautions are to be
taken to ensure that it is not used unintentionally. Switch off the drum kit, disconnect it from the external mains unit.
Remove any inserted batteries.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if
- the device shows visible damage
- the device no longer functions
- the device has been stored under unsuitable conditions for an extended period of time
- it has been subjected to severe stress during transport
• If you are not sure of the correct connection/operation or if questions which are not covered by the operating instruc-
tions arise, please do not hesitate to contact us or another specialist.
