5. Safety information

In case of damage caused by non-compliance with these operating instructions, the warranty/guarantee will expire.
We do not assume any liability for consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper use or the failure to ob-
serve the safety instructions! In such cases the warranty/guarantee is voided.
Dear customer, these safety instructions are not only for the protection of the product but also for your own safety and
that of other people. Therefore, read this chapter very carefully before taking the product into operation!
a) General information
• For safety and licensing (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifications to the product are not permitted.
Never dismantle the product.
• Servicing or repair must only be carried out by a specialist.
• Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly as it can become a dangerous toy for children.

b) Mains unit

• The mains unit is constructed pursuant to protection class II. Only a proper mains socket must be used as voltage
source for the mains unit.
• The mains socket to which the mains unit is connected must be easily accessible.
• Only use the enclosed mains cable to supply the drum kit with power.
• Do not pull the mains unit from the mains socket by pulling the cable. Take it at the side of the housing and pull it from
the socket then.
• If the mains unit is damaged, do not touch it. Danger to life from electric shock!
First switch off the mains voltage for the mains socket to which the mains unit is connected (switch off the circuit
breaker or turn out the fuse, then switch off the FI protection switch so that the mains socket is separated from the
mains voltage on all poles).
Then unplug the mains unit from the mains socket. Dispose of the damaged mains unit in an environmentally compa-
tible way. Do not use it anymore. Replace it by a mains unit of the same specifications.

c) Operation

• The product is not a toy. Devices that are operated with mains voltage have no place in the hands of children. There-
fore, be particularly careful when children are present.
Operate the product in a way that it is out of reach of children.
• Never operate the device unattended.
• The product is only suitable for operation in dry, closed rooms. No part of the product must become damp or wet; do
not touch it with damp or wet hands!
There is danger to life from electric shock due to the mains unit!
• Only operate the device in moderate climates, never in tropical climates.
• Do not put any objects onto the product; never cover it in operation.
• Do not place any open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on or directly next to the device.
