Insert the document into the automatic docu-
ment feed with the printed side downwards.
Enter the number of the recipient: either manu-
ally using the numeric keypad or via one touch
speed dial, coded speed dial or group dial.
Press the Start button or wait a few seconds until the T-Fax 5500 automatically
begins the scanning process.
The document will be scanned first and then transmitted to the stored fax num-
ber.
Press the Funktion button.

Press the Dateneingabe button.
Use the arrow buttons to scroll through the va-
rious main menus:
– BEDIENEREINGABEN,
– BERICHTEINSTELLUNG,
– SENDEEINSTELLUNG,
– EMPFANGSEINSTELLUNG,
– DRUCKEREINSTELLUNG,
– SYSTEMEINSTELLUNG.
Confirm your menu selection by pressing the
Abspeichern button. The first sub menu within
the selected main menu will then be displayed,
e.g.:
Select the sub menu you require by pressing
the arrow buttons.
Confirm your sub menu selection by pressing
the Abspeichern button.
The current setting will then be displayed.
Select the desired setting by pressing the ar-
row buttons, e.g.:
Confirm your setting by pressing the Abspei-
chern button.
You can cancel a setting or function by pres-
sing the Stop button.
