Cleaning, maintenance and disposal

A special maintenance is not necessary for this device. For cleaning the unit (surface of the housing) a mild house-
hold cleaning agent can be used for example a glass cleaner. Before the cleaning the power plug must be pulled out
of the socket.

Packaging: DAVITA joint to the system „Grüner Punkt". All parts of the packaging are recyclable materials and
environmentally acceptable to dispose. LEDs and units which are signed with the crossed wheelie bin symbol are
not allowed to throw into the domestic waste. There is the commitment to dispose such electro- and electronic "Alt-
geräte" separately. The communal public authority which is responsible for the disposal gives information regarding
the possibilities of a regulated disposal.
For the return and disposal of batteries the battery law is valid. National wide there are re-sampling points. The bat-
teries must be thrown into the green collection boxes.

DAVITA guarantees for this instrument for a period of 24 months after date of sale.
The guarantee is valid for material defects and manufacturing faults and includes the provision of spare parts as well
as labour. Guarantee expires if the instrument has been damaged, or used improperly or unauthorized intervention
