4. Operation
4.2 Functions set-up
Subaudible tone code selection
1. Press "OK" and then "Up"/"DOWN" to alter the Subaudible tone
code from 00 to 38.
2. Press "OK" to save the setting and return to main screen.
Volume adjustment
1. Press "OK" and then "Up"/"DOWN" to adjust the volume from
01 to 08.
2. Press "OK" to save the setting and return to main screen.
Channel scan
1. Press "OK" to start channel scan and "Up"/"DOWN" to change
scanning direction.
2. If there is a signal in a channel, which is strong enough to open
the squelch, scanning will be interposed for roughly 10
seconds. Afterward scanning resumes.
3. Press "OK" to stop channel scan.
Squelch threshold level adjustment
1. Press "OK" and then "Up"/"DOWN" to alter the squelch level,
01 or 02. Higher level, 02, provides better interference
elimination ability but reduces communication range.
2. Press "OK" to save the setting and return to main screen.
VOX function
1. Either press "OK" to switch on/ off the VOX function or press
"OK" and then "UP"/"DOWN" to adjust sensitivity level.
2. Press "OK" to save the setting and return to main screen.
3. Press "PTT" once to stop VOX function during transmission.
To switch on the function and adjust the sensitivity level, you need
to do the above procedures twice.

4.2 Réglage des fonctions
Fonction VOX
1. Appuyez sur ‹‹ OK ›› pour activer ou désactiver la fonction VOX
ou appuyez sur ‹‹ OK ›› puis sur ‹‹ UP ››/‹‹ DOWN ›› pour régler
le niveau de sensibilité.
2. Appuyez sur ‹‹ OK ›› pour sauvegarder le réglage et retourner
à l'écran principal.
3. Appuyez une fois sur ‹‹ PTT›› pour désactiver la fonction VOX
pendant la transmission.
Pour activer la fonction et régler le niveau de sensibilité, répétez
les opérations ci-dessus deux fois.
Fonction d'écran
1. Appuyez sur ‹‹ OK ›› pour activer la fonction d'écran et
retourner à l'écran principal. En fonction d'écran, le CTCSS
s'éteint et vous recevrez tous les signaux d'un même canal.
2. Appuyez de nouveau sur ‹‹ OK ›› à l'écran principal pour
désactiver la fonction.
Sonnerie
1. Appuyez sur ‹‹ OK ›› puis sur ‹‹ UP ››/‹‹ DOWN ›› pour
sélectionner une sonnerie parmi les huit possibles. Vous
entendrez un extrait de la sonnerie que vous sélectionnez.
2. Appuyez sur ‹‹ OK ›› pour sauvegarder le réglage et retourner
à l'écran principal.
Niveau de puissance
1. Appuyez sur ‹‹ OK ›› puis sur ‹‹ UP ››/‹‹ DOWN ›› pour changer
la puissance du minimum au maximum et vice versa.
2. Appuyez sur ‹‹ OK ›› pour sauvegarder le réglage et retourner
à l'écran principal..
Arrêt automatique
1. Appuyez sur ‹‹ OK ›› puis sur ‹‹ UP ››/‹‹ DOWN ›› pour activer
ou désactiver la fonction arrêt automatique.
2. Appuyez sur ‹‹ OK ›› pour sauvegarder le réglage et retourner
à l'écran principal.
3. Le transmetteur/récepteur s'arrêtera automatiquement au bout
de 30 minutes en mode veille si la fonction est activée.
