(On / Off switch)
Pressing the 
 button briefly switches the device
on and off. When the unit is switched on the indicator
above the button glows.
Note:
When you switch on, the 
 LEDs flash for a few seconds (power-on delay).
The unit is ready for use as soon as the delay time is
elapsed.
Caution!
The mains button is not a mains isolation switch.
Even when the LED is not glowing parts of the
machine remain connected to the mains power
supply (Standby mode). The stand-by current drain
is stated in the chapter entitled 'Specification'.
If the unit is not to be used for a long period we
recommend that you isolate it from the mains by
pulling out the mains plug at the wall socket.
Delayed power-off (sleep timer)
The amplifier features a delayed power-off function
(sleep mode). This function switches the unit off, to-
gether with all the  R
after a variable delay. The delay period can be set to a
value between 10 and 60 minutes.
Activating the power-off delay:
Switch on the amplifier and the source device you wish
to use. Hold the 
 button on the amplifier pressed
in for about 3 seconds until 6 of the listening source
LEDs light up. In this mode the LEDs indicate the power-
off delay period in 10-minute increments (6 x 10 min =
60 min). The time can be reduced in 10-minute steps by
repeatedly pressing the 
always indicate the delay you have currently set.
The delay period is activated when the machine detects
that you have not pressed the 
of about 4 seconds. The 
indicate that the power-off delay is running.
Note:
It can be switched off at any time by pressing the
 button briefly.
Note:
The amplifier can also be switched on using the source
buttons. If the source device you wish to use is connec-
ted to the amplifier via an R
source switches on the amplifier automatically.

PHONES
(headphones socket)
Socket for stereo headphones with an impedance of at
least 50 Ω. The amplifier features a separate high-quality
headphone amplifier, independent of the loudspeaker
output stages.
Note:
Continuous listening to very loud programme material
via earphones or headphones can result in permanent
hearing loss. You can prevent harm to your own health
by avoiding long periods of listening at high levels when
using headphones or earphones.
