13 Safety advices concerning the installed accumulator: Do not try to
exchange the integrated accumulator. If the performance of the
accumulator drops, contact the manufacturer. If the accumulator is
exchanged improperly, there is a danger of explosions.
14 This unit is furbished with a high quality Li-polymer accumulator. Under
unfavourable conditions, contacting sparks may ignite explosive or
inflammable atmospheres, e.g. on petrol stations. We therefore strongly
recommend not to use the unit in such hazardous areas and to switch
the unit off.
15 Do not install the unit close to heat sources such as radiators, stoves or
other devices (including amplifiers) radiating heat. Avoid exposure to
direct sunlight.
16 Never use the unit near water.
17 To avoid electric shock or fire, do not expose the unit or the accessory
to rain or humidity.
18 Do not expose the unit to dripping or splashing water. Do not place any
heavy objects or container with liquids (beverages, vases etc.) on the
unit. Avoid extreme changes of temperature to prevent humidity
condensing in the unit.
19 Do not place open fires e.g. burning candles on the unit.
20 Do not operate the unit close to magnetic fields (e.g. loudspeakers).
21 Children: electric devices are not for children. Never leave children to
play with electric devices without supervision. Children are not always
able to judge possible dangers correctly. Keep the packaging material
away from children, there is a danger of suffocation.
22 Small parts can be perilous if swallowed. Keep small parts away from
children. If a small part was swallowed, immediately contact a doctor.
23 If you do not operate the unit in the Federal Republic of Germany, make
sure to observe the local laws and regulations applicable in your
country.
