Maintenance/Cleaning/Battery Replacement

5.0 Maintenance

When using the instrument in compliance with the instruction manual, no special
maintenance is required.

5.1 Cleaning

If the instrument is dirty after usage, it is advidsed to clean it by using a humid cloth and
mild household detergents. Never use acid detergents or solvents.

5.2 Battery replacement

If the battery symbol appears, proceed with the battery replacement.
1. Switch off the instrument
2. Open battery case cover on the instrument rear.
3. Remove used batteries.
4. Insert bew batteries type 1.5 V IEC LR03/AAA by respecting the polarity and close the
casing.
5. Now, continue measurements as usual.
Remove batteries when not using the instrument over a longer time period.
However, should the instrument be contaminated by leaking batteries, return the
instrument for cleaning and inspection to the factory.
Please think of our environment when you dispose of your used batteries, they
belong in a rubbish dump or a retuse collection place for hazardous waste.
