Battery/Adaptor Test
When pestfree is powered with a new battery or functioning
adaptor, when turned on it will bleep 4 times and the red
LED will flash behind the lens.
With the unit facing away from you, move your hand in
front of the lens, the LED will flash and the speaker may be
heard to click.
Take your hand away and after 2 seconds the LED will go off.
Wait for 5-10 seconds and put your hand back in front of the
lens, the LED will come on and you may hear the speaker click.
If you do not wait for the 5-10 seconds as mentioned above
the unit will not respond as it is running a systems and
voltage check.
When the battery power is running low the LED in the unit
flashes continuously and no bleeps will be heard.
With a dead battery the unit will not respond.
Do not use out of date or zinc batteries.
To test the battery turn the unit off and
wait for ten seconds before turning it back
on, see above for correct
operation indicators.
Cautions
Do not point toward anyone's ear.
Do not press against lens.
