In order to reduce the voltage loss between solar
module and battery, we have fitted this type of charge
regulator with an electronic switch that replaces the
otherwise commonly used Shottky diodes (the
average voltage loss of a Shottky diode is 0.55 V).
LCD-display
The LCD display has 2 lines of 20 characters each.
The FOX-150 offers you 2 display masks that can be
selected via the Display/Enter key. If you have selected
one display mask and do not change the display mode
within 30 min., the selected display remains the
default display.
Each time you press the Display /Enter key, you can
switch to one other display mask.
The * symbol shows that the battery is fully charged.
