 Never leave the switched on device unattended for long period of time.
 Caution hot Surface! Do not touch any hot parts with bare hands
during operation. Use appropriate hand protection.
 Never move the device by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord
cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the device and do
not bend it. Do not allow the power cord to ride over sharp edges or corners or
close to hot surfaces. Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table or
countertop.
 Do not overfill the device.
 Never fill water and food into the outer pot (base unit).
 Always be careful if it will be necessary to reposition the device after cooking.
 Always be very careful when removing rice from the pot. During cooking hot
steam will escape from the lid. Do not touch hot parts and do not open the lid
during operation.
 Unplug the device from the power supply before cleaning or when not in use.
 Leave the rice cooker to cool down prior cleaning or storing the device.
 Only use original spare parts from Westfalia.
 Should the device become damaged, do not use it and have it repaired by a
professional. Do not disassemble the device or try repairing it yourself. In case
of questions or problems turn to our customer service.
