• Cut the vegetables into a suitable size for fitting through the funnel.
• If the vegetables are too hard and the device stops, switch it off and clear
the vegetable rests from the blade.
Storage
The tamper and the knife attachments can be stored in the container.

Cleaning and maintenance

The knife blades in the knife inserts are very sharp. Handle
them with care and only touch them on the plastic parts.
Always pull the plug before cleaning the motor unit.
• Do not immerse the motor unit
in water and do not rinse it under
running water.
• Do not use abrasive tools for
cleaning.
• Use only a damp cloth to clean
the motor unit.
• The container, blades, lid, and
tamper can be cleaned in the
dishwasher.
• We recommend cleaning the
blade disc and the blades by hand
under running water. To avoid rus-
ting, the blade must be comple-
tely dry before being used again.
• The parts must be completely dry
before they are assembled again.
• Should the plastic parts get disco-
loured by contact with food (e.g.
carrots), rub the affected parts
with a cloth soaked in vegetable
oil and then rinse it with water.
