Starting Up the Device

• Remove the device and accessories from the packaging.
Check the items supplied for completeness and trans-
port damage. If you fi nd transport damage, do not
use the device (!), but contact the Customer Ser-
vice department immediately.

Inserting Batteries

Before you fi rst use the device, batteries must be inserted.
You require 2 x 1.5 V batteries of the AA type.
Replace the batteries in good time when the power of the
device starts to become weaker.
The device must be switched off before you replace the bat-
teries (move switch to position 0).
