Benutzung
Der Artikel verfügt über einen Berührungssensor. Dieser reagiert,
wenn die Trittmatte (5) betreten wird.
1. Den Alarmmelder an einer gut zugänglichen Wand im Innenbe-
reich befestigen. Dabei darauf achten, dass die Länge des Ka-
bels ausreicht. Unbedingt die Sicherheitshinweise zur Montage
beachten (siehe Abschnitt „Wichtige Hinweise").
2. Das Kabel (3) am Alarmmelder mit dem Anschluss (4) an der
Trittmatte (5) verbinden. Auf den korrekten Sitz achten!
3. Die Trittmatte an geeigneter Stelle (z. B. unter der Schmutz-
fangmatte an der Haus- / Wohnungstür) platzieren.
4. Den An- / Ausschalter (6) an der Seite des Artikels auf die Po-
sition Alarm oder Glocke stellen. Wenn jemand die Trittmat-
te betritt, ertönt für ca. 30 Sekunden ein Warnsignal. Danach
bleibt der Alarm weiterhin aktiviert.
5. Den An- / Ausschalter auf die Position Aus stellen, um das
Warnsignal zu unterbrechen oder den Alarm zu deaktivieren.
Regelmäßig Tests durchführen, um die korrekte Funktions-
weise des Artikels sicherzustellen! Ist das Warnsignal nur
leise zu hören, Batterien wechseln.

Entsorgung
Das Verpackungsmaterial ist wiederverwertbar. Die Ver-
packung umweltgerecht entsorgen und der Wertstoff-
sammlung zuführen.
Den Artikel umweltgerecht entsorgen. Er gehört nicht in
den Hausmüll. Den Artikel an einem Recyclinghof für elek-
trische und elektronische Altge räte entsorgen. Nähere
Informationen bei der örtlichen Gemeindeverwaltung ver-
fügbar.
Die Batterien sind vor der Entsorgung des Artikels zu ent-
nehmen und getrennt vom Artikel zu entsorgen. Im Sin-
ne des Umweltschutzes dürfen Batterien und Akkus nicht
über den normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden, sondern
müssen an entsprechenden Sammelstellen abgegeben
werden. Außerdem die geltenden gesetzlichen Regelun-
gen zur Batterieentsorgung beachten.

The article is a pressure-sensitive mat which can be placed
under the doormat in front of the door to your house or apart-
ment, for example. When somebody steps on this pressure-
sensitive mat, an alarm signal sounds.
■
The article is for personal use only and is not intended for com-
mercial applications.
■
The article should only be used as described in these instruc-
tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
■
The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects
caused by improper handling, damage or unauthorised at-
tempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
■
Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away
from children and animals.
■
This is not a toy! Do not leave children and animals unsuper-
vised with the article.
■
Danger of hearing damage! Do not operate the article close
to your hearing.
■
Batteries can be deadly if swallowed. Keep batteries and the
article out of the reach of children and animals. If a battery is
swallowed, seek medical assistance immediately.

If the battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mu-
cous membranes to come into contact with the battery acid. If
you touch battery acid, rinse the affected sites with abundant
fresh water immediately and contact a doctor.
■
Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts in
the article and on the batteries are clean, and clean them if
necessary.
■
Use only the battery type specifi ed in the technical data.
■
Always replace all batteries together. Do not use batteries of
different types or brands, or batteries with different capacities.
When replacing batteries, ensure the correct polarity (+ / –).
■
Take the batteries out of the article when they are dead or if
you will not be using the article for a prolonged period. This will
prevent any damage that might occur if a battery leaks.
■
Remove a dead battery from the article immediately. Clean the
contacts before a new battery is inserted.
■
The batteries must not be recharged or reactivated by other
means, must not be dismantled, thrown into a fi re, immersed in
liquids or short-circuited.
