• The burner's properties can be affected negatively if the burner is leaning. Therefore, check
this with a liquid level. If the burner is leaning, it must be positioned again.
• Change the fuel. See Section 4.2.1 for recommendations.
• Turn off the burner, remove any residue particles from the burner and its strainer, and cean
the upper part of the stove and the smoke passages from soot, so that residue particles do not
fall into the combustion system during operation.
The flames are sooty – a strange smell is emitted
Possible causes:
• A foreign object is present in the burner opening or near the flames.
• The burner is in a room with a strong draught or deficient ventilation.
• The wrong type of fuel is being used.
• The burner is dirty.
Measures:
• Extinguish the flames and let the burner cool for 15 minutes.
• Position the burner again in a room that fulfils the requirements specified in Section 4 Firing.
• Change the fuel. See Section 4.2.1 for recommendations.
• Clean the burner system by following the instructions in Section 6.2.
The burner does not go out when the control is turned to the stop position
Possible causes:
• The regulator lid is blocked.
• The regulator lid is incorrectly placed.
• The regulator mechanism has been damaged by external influence, such as the burner being
dropped on the ground.
Measures:
• Test by pushing the regulator lid to the maximum position and then hard to the stop position.
• If this does not work, let the burner burn out and then let it cool for at least 15 minutes.
• Check that the regulator lid is correctly placed (see instructions in Chapter 3.1 Assembly and
installation).
• Check that no foreign object is blocking the mechanism's movements, by lifting out the burner
module.
• If the above does not help, contact the place of purchase for further contact with a service
technician.
The flame burns uncontrollably for some reason
Possible causes:
• A fault has occurred in the burner system.
